Darlene Norris

I’m a wife, mom, and grandma who lives in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Over the years, I’ve had many animals, ranging from cats and dogs to goats, pigs, chickens, horses, sheep, geese, and ducks. I’ve worked at an animal shelter, and at a vet’s office as well.

I live in a town full of dog-lovers, so I meet many canines when I’m out on my daily walks.  Most are very polite and well-behaved.  Others, not so much!

Some dog owners make a lot of mistakes when trying to train their companions.  It’s too bad, because a well-trained dog is a pleasure to be around.  An untrained dog is a nuisance at best.

My aim with this blog is to help dog owners with training issues, and to direct them to other websites with products than can help solve dog behavior problems.
